AECA Taiwan Expands Production

AECA (Asia Engineered Components & Assembly Co., Ltd.) has undergone significant expansion and technological modernization throughout 2025 and into early 2026.
1. Major Corporate Expansion & Facility Launches
New Thailand Facility (2025): AECA officially launched a new manufacturing facility in Thailand in 2025. This site focuses on precision machining, product assembly, and testing to meet growing global demand and improve regional service reach.
Dali Plant Investment: In mid-2024, AECA received government approval for a NT$140 million investment in its Dali plant in Taichung. This project included adding smart production lines and recruiting additional domestic employees to enhance product competitiveness.
2. Digital Transformation & "Smart Manufacturing" (October 2025)
AECA completed a full-scale digital integration in October 2025. The upgrade included the implementation of several advanced systems:
MES & ERP: Real-time production tracking and comprehensive business process management.
IIoT & Big Data: Connecting machines for intelligent data collection and predictive analytics.
Smart Logistics: Automated warehouse and supply chain workflows.
Automation: By June 2025, the factory successfully integrated CNC milling machine automation with robotic arms.
3. Strategic Entry into Aerospace (October 2025)
As of October 1, 2025, AECA has officially embarked on a journey toward AS9100 Certification. This marks the company’s formal move into aerospace-grade manufacturing, expanding its capabilities beyond its traditional strengths in automotive and medical devices.
4. ESG and Sustainability Initiatives
The company has integrated "ESG Smart Metering" into its operations to monitor energy usage. AECA is also pursuing ISO 14001:2015 certification (Environmental Management) and has implemented green manufacturing practices, such as installing electrostatic oil mist collectors for recycling and reuse.
5. Market Reach and Partnerships
Harley-Davidson Supply Chain: AECA achieved a significant milestone by entering the product line for Harley-Davidson motorcycles through a partnership with WPS, the largest motor vehicle dealer in the United States.
Industry Sectors: While expanding into aerospace, AECA remains a key player in high-precision components for the automotive (IATF 16949 certified), medical (ISO 13485 certified), and industrial equipment industries.
